Since 1987 Ralf Zimme is an active member of the event industry, working mainly as production and stage manager both locally and internationally.
After having been assigned head of event technology and security management at the multifunctional Dusseldorf football stadium ESPRIT arena since its opening in 2005, Ralf is now also in charge of the safety and security unit at Düsseldorf Congress Sport & Event – one of Germany’s leading venue operators.
Furthermore, Ralf Zimme is content board member of the YOUROPE Event Safety (YES) Group, which is an association of about 70 European festival organisers.
As part of his ongoing qualification, he has completed the “Crowd and Safety Management, BA (Hons)“ studies at Bucks New University in the UK in 2013.
